When and where is the block party?

Soul Vegan Block Party will be September 10, 2022 from 1-7 PM EST at Abner Clay Park in Richmond, Virginia. The address is 119 W. LEIGH STREET RICHMOND, VA 23220.

Is there parking on site at the event?

All parking will be street parking in the area surrounding Abner Clay Park and in the nearby neighborhoods. If possible, we highly recommend ride shares like Uber or Lyft, carpooling, and taking public transportation (which is currently still free of charge).

Do I need a ticket for the event and what is the cost?

No ticket or registration necessary! You can show up day of the event and enter the event, free of charge. However, if you’d like to register through EventBrite ahead of time, you will be entered into a raffle to win a prize!

Do I have to be vegan?

Absolutely not. We encourage ALL members of our community to join us, no matter what you eat.

 

Do I have to pay for food and products at the event?

Yes. Entrance to the event is free, but if you’d like to buy meals or products from our vendors, you will need to pay for those items.

Are pets allowed?

Well behaved, leashed pets that are responsive to your commands are welcome to come. Please be aware that this event will be loud, crowded, and full of children so if this is not a good space for your pet, please leave them home. And of course, you must pick up and properly dispose of your pet’s waste.

 

What should I bring to the event?

You may want to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, money, a lawn chair or blanket, and a reusable water bottle (you can purchase a Block Party water bottle here or here.

Can I be a vendor at the block party?

Vendor registration for 2022 is closed. Please check back soon to apply to be a 2023 vendor.
